'Pioneer Woman' Ree Drummond Shares 'Wonderful' Family Update

Ree Drummond, known for her blog and TV show, The Pioneer Woman, has even more exciting news to celebrate these days, as her daughter Paige is officially engaged to be married!

Drummond's younger daughter, who turns 25 this month, shared the big news on her Instagram grid alongside photos of her new-fiancé, David Andersen, getting on one knee to pop the question.

In the snaps, the happy couple was outside, enjoying the nice weather on a picnic blanket with something to drink. Paige looked lovely in an elegant dress with a black top and a white skirt, while David wore nice jeans, a button-up and a blue jacket.

Paige wrote, "I get to marry the love of my life! How is this real?? God’s greatest gift to me and my person forever. I love you, David Andersen! I can’t wait to be your wife!!! ???????????."

The soon-to-be-bride's family also shared the happy news, with Drummond posting a photo of the couple on her Instagram Stories, writing, "Something wonderful happened tonight."

Paige and David also appeared to celebrate with Drummond and her husband, Ladd, with the four posing together in another photo.

Paige's older sister, Alex, who is currently expecting her first child with her husband Mauricio Scott, was also at the celebration after the proposal, sharing the news on her Stories as well.

Drummond wrote about the engagement on her blog, declaring, "Our family is getting bigger. (And...taller!)." She revealed that she knew David would propose to Paige for "about six weeks," adding, "I can finally exhale."

She described the event—keeping the secret from Paige and getting everything ready—as "cops and robbers, it was cloak and dagger, it was an epic action adventure movie!"

Explaining how she felt about this major step in life for her daughter Paige, Drummond enthusiastically wrote, "We are so happy! Paige and David are such a great match, a terrific team! Paige is my strong, mighty, wonderful daughter and the fact that she found a person she wants to spend her life with is a pretty indescribable feeling."
