Prada Names South Korean Actor Byeon Wooseok Brand Ambassador
Prada is further dipping its toes into the South Korean zeitgeist, adding actor Byeon Wooseok to its roster of brand ambassadors.
The Italian luxury brand has tapped the 33-year-old actor on the heels of his breakthrough year following the popularity he garnered by playing the main character Ryu Sun-jae in tvN’s time-slip TV series “Lovely Runner.” He currently boasts 11.4 million followers on Instagram alone.

Wooseok attended the Prada men’s spring 2025 show in Milan last June, donning a dark look composed of tailored pants and a thick woolen knit, accented by a white leather belt with a tone-on-tone buckle placed on the side, a white shirt and tie.
After starting in fashion modeling, Wooseok kicked off his acting career by landing leading roles across movies and television productions. He first gained recognition in 2016 with the TV drama “Dear My Friends” and went on to star in popular series such as “Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency,” “Record of Youth,” and “Moonshine.”
In his role as a brand ambassador, Wooseok joins fellow South Korean artists including Karina, the lead member of girl band Aespa; actor Kim Tae-ri; singers Jeon So-mi and Sana Minatozaki, the latter a Japanese-born, South Korea-based artist who has been part of the Twice girl band since 2015; singer, songwriter and actor Jaehyun, a member of the NCT boy band, as well as Enhypen.
Other Prada brand ambassadors include Harris Dickinson, Damson Idris, Hunter Schafer, Letitia Wright, Jia Ling and Ma Yili, among others.
