LAVELIN – ‘Forget About Us’
LAVELIN’s unique sound combines soft synths and indie undertones to tell the story of escaping a suppressing relationship and navigating life afterwards. The EP kicks off with her debut single, ‘Blind’, a beautifully emotional ballad. This track features airy, ghostly vocals paired with grungy synths and a steady drumbeat, exploring the theme of being seen as perfect but not human.
The another track is ‘Addicted’, which flips the narrative with a feminine, coquette allure. This song delves into the infatuation and the experience of loving the feeling of being loved.
The EP concludes with ‘Shed’, marking the end of both the album and the relationship it chronicles. This track features an army march drumbeat, dark synths, mantra-like lyrics, and a powerful beat.
LAVELIN’s debut EP ‘Forget About Us’ promises to leave a lasting impression with its music. You can stream the debut EP ‘ Forget About Us’ on May 24 from here.
