President Obama Slow Jams the News on 'Tonight Show'
President Barack Obama stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to "slow jam the news." While this was the president's first time on The Tonight Show under Fallon, he did slow jam the news on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon back in 2012. During the bit Obama listed many of the accomplishments that he is proud his administration has achieved, like job growth. "We've added more than 14 million new jobs and lowered the unemployment rate to under 5%," said the president. His statements were backed up by Fallon and Roots band member Tariq Trotter's singing. Trotter followed up the job growth claims with, "He created tons of jobs for you and me and he's got one more left for Hillary." Between the job growth, healthcare reform, environmental measures, and equal rights movement a lot has happened in the past 7-plus years. President Obama said, "In short, climate change is real, healthcare is affordable, and love is love."
