Being the president of the United States is a serious job, but President Obama has proven that adding a little levity to the highest office just makes him more human and relatable to constituents.

Throughout his term, Obama’s wry, self-deprecating sense of humor and surprisingly great comedic timing have bolstered his popularity. His witty one-liners at the annual White House Correspondents’ Dinner have become legendary, and he’s been a popular guest on the late-night talk show circuit, slinging zingers and trading barbs with some of the most standout humorists of our time.

Speaking as a father of two teenage daughters, Obama once joked to potential male suitors: “I have two words for you – predator drones.”
