Which Presley family members are buried at Graceland with Elvis?

The "Meditation Garden," where Elvis is buried, is for many visitors the emotional centerpiece of the Graceland experience.

Tours of Graceland end at the Meditation Garden, which is located on the south side of the mansion. Many visitors bow their heads or become silent as they pay their respects at the Elvis gravesite, even if moments earlier they had been smiling in wonder at the gold records, stained-glass peacocks and "Jungle Room" décor inside the Presley home.

Also, the Meditation Garden is, of course, the focus of the "Candlelight Vigil," the public procession to the Elvis grave that begins annually on the evening of Aug. 15, to mark the Aug. 16, 1977, death of the King. The event always attracts thousands of fans to Memphis, many of whom are in the city for several days of "Elvis Week" activities.

What some people don't realize is that Elvis is not the only person buried in the Meditation Garden. Including Elvis, six people have been laid to rest at Graceland, to date.

They include Elvis Presley; his parents, Gladys and Vernon Presley; his daughter, Lisa Marie Presley; Lisa Mare's son, Benjamin Keough; and Elvis' paternal grandmother, Minnie Mae Presley.

In addition, a memorial gravestone for Elvis' stillborn twin brother, Jesse Garon Presley, is in the Garden.
