Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have done it again. The royal couple has found a way to make a major life move without the press finding out until the deal is done. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have decided to plant roots in Europe, which solves the problem of housing after King Charles III evicted them from Frogmore Cottage last summer.

While the home is not in the U.K., the Daily Mail reports that Harry and Meghan found a home in Portugal. While that might seem like a random spot in Europe for them to buy property, Princess Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, are also homeowners there. The Sussexes have remained close to Eugenie and Brooksbank after their exit from the royal family, so it makes sense that they are sticking close to them. It’s also a way for Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet to get to know their U.K. family better too.

The move shouldn’t be that surprising because Harry and Meghan were probably house-hunting last September when they visited Eugenie and Brooksbank during a “mega-secret” vacation. The Sussexes stayed at the luxurious CostaTerra Golf and Ocean Club, where Brooksbank is the marketing and sales manager. “We have no idea how many people linked to cinema, royalty, arts, design, and fashion visit us, precisely because they value discreet travel, which is something they find in Alentejo like nowhere else in Europe,” Jose Santos, head of the Alentejo Tourism Board, told the U.K. outlet last year while confirming Harry and Meghan were there for a “short stay.”

Harry was reportedly not thrilled when his father made the decision to end their lease at Frogmore Cottage, which had been a wedding gift from Queen Elizabeth II. “Harry and Meghan imagined Frogmore would always be there for them even if they came back to the UK for just a few weeks each year and even if they were no longer working royals,” Tom Quinn, author of Scandals of the Royal Palaces: An Intimate Memoir of Royals Behaving Badly, told the Mirror in April. “That assumption speaks volumes about just how out of touch with each other King Charles and his son had become.”

The loss of Frogmore was “the last straw” in the family feud, according to Quinn and Harry was reportedly “furious” that Charles made such a “vindictive” move for his memoir, Spare. Well, it looks like Harry and Meghan have found a solution to their issue which not only connects them with the part of the royal family they are close to, but it also gives them a home base for their continued work abroad. It’s the latest chapter in their refocused brand.
