Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Threaten Legal Action Against Paparazzi After Move To Canada
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's sudden exit from the Royal Palace took the world by surprise. But fans and supporters of the couple might have seen this historic move coming for quite some time.
While critics blamed Duchess Meghan for the royal exit, citing a fame-hungry personality, supporters of the royal couple have pointed to Prince Harry's blatant distaste of the British media for he and Meghan's choice to take a step back. This is proving to be no different in Canada.

Paparazzi Are Everywhere
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have made it very clear they wish to step down from their royal duties to seek a more normal life for their son, Archie. But, so far, the royal couple have still been subjected to tons of press coverage after their move to Canada.
Photos of Duchess Meghan were published recently depicting the formerSuits actor holding Archie in a carrier while on a walk with their dogs. The photos have already sparked controversy over the way the baby was being carried.
Leave Us Alone
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are reportedly fighting back against the paparazzi. Reports say the royal couple's alerted the press, through their own lawyers, that they would seek legal action against them if photos were bought or published that were taken intrusively.
This report says the paparazzi have been camping outside their house at all hours of the day and have been hiding in bushes to get their shots. Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan are reportedly worried over the way the paparazzi have been driving.
No Other Option
These concerns echo a statement given by Prince Harry this week in regard to he and Meghan leaving the palace. In his speech, Harry makes a point to blame the British media, calling them a "powerful force."
Prince Harry directly referenced the death of his mother Princess Diana in 1997. Diana was killed in a car accident in Paris while trying to escape paparazzi. Harry said he watched his mother become "commoditized" and could not watch the same happen to his wife.
A Clear Bias
Harry and Meghan's fears are not without precedent. The British press has long criticized the Duchess of Sussex, analyzing her every action. The media would repeatedly publish pieces that criticized Meghan for simple things like touching her then-pregnant stomach.
Prince William's wife, Kate Middleton, was given very different treatment by the press. Most headlines in regard to Kate seemed to be very much in favor of the Princess. Similar behaviors in Kate were often applauded, where they would have been criticized for Meghan.
