Prince Louis steals the show at Platinum Jubilee, from shushing Duchess Kate to silly expressions
Who knew something so little could make such a big splash at the Platinum Jubilee?
Although the four-day celebrations were in honor of Queen Elizabeth II's unprecedented 70 years on the throne, her 4-year-old great-grandson Prince Louis of Cambridge managed to have many scene-stealing moments.
To kick off the Platinum Jubilee celebrations on Thursday, Queen Elizabeth and other members of the royal family including Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla, Prince William and Duchess Kate, and their three young Cambridge royal children, George, Charlotte and Louis, gathered on the balcony of Buckingham Palace where they observed the Trooping the Colour showcase.
The event marked Queen Elizabeth's first appearance on the balcony in years, but Louis became the focus of attention for his meme-worthy facial expressions during the flypast.

The youngest prince of Cambridge made silly faces from the balcony and at several points could be seen screaming as he covered his ears to muffle the sounds as 70 military planes soared over the palace.
Kate attempted to calm Louis down, but the 4-year-old continued business as usual. Queen Elizabeth characteristically kept her composure during the Platinum Jubilee kick off.

Louis once again stole the show during Sunday's Platinum Jubilee Pageant.
While watching the parade, the youngest of Kate and William's offspring cheered with passion and stuck his tongue out in moments of excitement. His cheeky expressions mirrored Charlotte's viral photos from the inaugural King's Cup charity regatta in August 2019.
At one point, Louis poked his tongue out in Kate's face and made a goofy gesture with his hand, prompting the mother of three to give him a stern look.
The 4-year-old also tried covering his mother's mouth during the Platinum Jubilee Pageant.

Princess Anne's son-in-law Mike Tindall appeared to give Louis a warning by pointing to his eyes to signal he was watching the Cambridge prince.
Despite Louis' displeasure with Kate's attempts to quiet him down, he eventually settled and gave his mother sweet cuddles.
Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee had many newsworthy moments, including the return of Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan.
