Prince Louis turns 5! See the young royal's new birthday photos with Princess Kate
Prince William and Princess Kate's youngest child isn't so little anymore.
Prince Louis turned 5 on Sunday, and the Prince and Princess of Wales marked his big birthday by sharing new photos of the royal.
A smiling Kate is shown pushing Louis in a grass-filled metal wheelbarrow. The young prince has a huge grin and is wearing a blue Fair Isle sweater over a blue-and-white windowpane plaid button-down and denim shorts.
The Prince and Princess of Wales also shared a close-up of the youngest.
"A very happy birthday to Prince Louis," the proud parents captioned the photos on Instagram.

William and Kate traditionally release pictures of their children on their birthdays, at Christmas and other important events such as the first day of school. Typically, Kate, an avid photographer, snaps the photos.
This year, Louis' birthday pictures were shot by Millie Pilkington.
Louis has become a favorite for royal fans as his boisterous personality has blossomed over the years.
King Charles III coronation: When is it? Will Camilla be crowned? Who is performing?
Last June, he stole the show at the late Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee to celebrate her unprecedented 70 years on the throne. To kick off the celebrations, Queen Elizabeth and other members of the royal family gathered on the balcony of Buckingham Palace where they observed the Trooping the Colour showcase.
The event marked Queen Elizabeth's first appearance on the balcony in years, but Louis became the focus of attention for his meme-worthy facial expressions during the flypast.
The youngest prince of Cambridge made silly faces from the balcony and at several points could be seen screaming as he covered his ears to muffle the sounds as 70 military planes soared over the palace.
Prince Louis steals the show at Platinum Jubilee: From shushing Duchess Kate to silly expressions
Louis again stole the show during the Platinum Jubilee Pageant days later.
While watching the parade, he cheered with passion and stuck his tongue out in moments of excitement. His cheeky expressions mirrored Princess Charlotte's viral photos from the inaugural King's Cup charity regatta in August 2019.
At one point, Louis poked his tongue out in Kate's face and made a goofy gesture with his hand, prompting the mother of three to give him a stern look.
Despite Louis' displeasure with Kate's attempts to quiet him down, he eventually settled and gave his mother sweet cuddles.

The Prince and Princess of Wales joked about the viral moments on Instagram. "We all had an incredible time, especially Louis," they captioned a set of photos from the Platinum Jubilee.
In less than two weeks, the royal family will celebrate King Charles III for his coronation. William and Kate's 9-year-old son Prince George, second in line to the throne, is one of the eight "Pages of Honour" chosen to tend Charles and Camilla on coronation day.
It's unclear what role, if any, the Prince and Princess of Wales' daughter Princess Charlotte, 7, and Louis will have at the coronation.
