Princess Beatrice Breathes New Life Into Her Engagement Dress
Princess Beatrice attends day one of Royal Ascot 2023.
Princess Beatrice is adhering to the Royal Family's sustainability initiatives in her own way–and in style.
The 35-year-old was photographed re-wearing the navy blue silk dress that she first wore when snapping pictures to share alongside the elated announcement that she and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi were officially engaged.
The eldest daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson announced she was engaged to the British executive in 2019. The two married a year later and welcomed their first child together, a baby girl named Sienna, in September 2021. Edo is also the father of an 8-year-old son named Christopher "Wolfie" Woolf, whom he shares with his ex-girlfriend Dara Huang.
Beatrice was seen in the classic ensemble while attending the celebration of a partnership launch between the Fiker Institute and OPUS in Dubai, which aims "to advance the entrepreneurial corridor between the UAE & the United Kingdom, and to promote international action and intellectual discourse among the memberships of both organizations," per a statement shared by the Fiker Institute on Instagram.
A fan account dedicated to keeping up with the Princess of York also shared some stills of the event–and her speech–on X (formerly Twitter).

Beatrice also serves as an OPUS board member, and while at the event, she commented on the new partnership, telling the crowd: "As the world continues to speed up, especially in the advent of new technologies, it is important to remember that relationships are at the core of any success story. Our mission to connect builders and unlock opportunity is right at the heart of that philosophy, and I believe the creation of a community of entrepreneurs who are keen to help each other will only further catalyse the UAE’s extraordinary story."
According to the official description on the OPUS website, the organization is "A global community that exists to create opportunity through the power of connection."
"We bring together ambitious business builders and entrepreneurs who are pushing the world forward," it continued, "Our belief is rooted in the power of relationships and connections to create opportunity."
