Princess Beatrice Looks So Chic in Silky Black Skirt During NYC Trip

Princess Beatrice has been in New York City for the past few days, and she's already been photographed adopting the signature style of the Big Apple.

New photos of the royal taken at the iconic Empire State Building on Monday, May 6, showed her rocking a black silky midi skirt, a black top, a sage green jacket with the sleeves rolled up and black sneakers–fitting in with the rest of New York's fashion-forward, on-the-go population.

She completed the chic 'fit with a few bracelets and rings and kept her makeup to a minimum while styling her long red hair down, allowing it to be windswept for the photos.

The Princess of York arrived in New York earlier this week to promote the charity Outward Bound, which is described as "a worldwide educational and charitable network whose mission is to change young people's lives through challenge, learning, and adventure."

While at the Empire State Building, the 35-year-old watched 20 brave participants–which included Jared Leto–as they rappelled down the south facade of the building. The event accumulated over $3 million in donations to Outward Bound, per a recent press release.

Princess Beatrice also made a brief statement thanking the landmark for hosting the event and sharing her excitement for the organization's future.

"On behalf of Outward Bound, thank you to the Empire State Building for hosting such an inspirational event," she said. "Bringing young people out of their comfort zones and supporting them to achieve something they never thought possible is what Outward Bound is all about."

"I am so happy to offer my support as a trustee and a great admirer of the Outward Bound Trust and all they stand for – these participants really are an inspiration,” Beatrice concluded.
