Princess Beatrice & Princess Eugenie Have a Major Request for King Charles III
Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie reportedly have a great relationship with King Charles III, which is something that their father, Prince Andrew, does not. While the monarch respects the lives his nieces have built for themselves, the same cannot be said of his younger brother, especially after his ties to the late pedophile Jeffrey Epstein were revealed.
Still, the women love their father and are reportedly trying to get the brothers to “mend fences,” according to an In Touch Weekly source. (This story sounds familiar, no?) “The two princesses have spoken to their uncle, asking him to forgive Andrew and for the two brothers to mend fences,” the insider said. “But it remains to be seen if their requests have been heard.” The Duke of York will never return to his royal duties, but it seems like his daughters at least want him to remain at his beloved Royal Lodge — which has become a real estate tug-of-war.

“They don’t want him to have to leave his home, a place where they all shared so many happy times,” the source added. “Their mother, Sarah Ferguson, still lives at the Royal Lodge with Andrew, so it would remove both of their parents from their much-loved home.” While Prince Andrew’s daughters are hoping that their pleas will be heard by their uncle, the Duke of York apparently has other ideas in trying to keep Royal Lodge in the family.
According to an Andrew pal, per The Daily Beast, he is trying to “run out the clock” by wearing Charles down. If he can hold Charles off from evicting him, it will be Prince William’s time on the throne — and Andrew believes that he’s a low priority on the future king’s list. However, Charles’ patience is reportedly wearing thin and Prince Andrew’s security team is finishing up their monarch-paid contract this month. “They are all working the final weeks of their contract till the end of October,” an insider for The Sun said. “It’s not thought anyone is being lined up to replace them. It isn’t a secret that the King wants him out.”
Those obstacles don’t seem to be deterring Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice from working their magic. “The girls desperately want the family to reunite,” the In Touch Weekly source noted. “And they are doing their best to make a royal reunion happen.” But at this stage of the game, it sounds like it’s far too late for Prince Andrew to redeem himself.
