Princess Beatrice Spotted Reuniting With Prince William at Garden Party Amid Kate Middleton's Absence
Princess Beatrice, Prince William
Princess Beatrice reunited with her royal cousin Prince William at a garden party at Buckingham Palace that hosted many guests, including Beatrice's sister, Princess Eugenie, and their other cousins, Zara Tindall and Peter Phillips.
Beatrice looked stunning at the event, arriving in a bright red long-sleeved dress with ruffles at the cuff and pearl buttons down the front, while her sister Eugenie wore an all-white short-sleeved dress and spiked silver heels.
Meanwhile, William looked dapper in a tailcoat suit and a top hat, with many other men at the event dressed similarly. At one point, William was spotted posing for a photo with a couple of older women in a sweet moment, shielding them from the rain with his umbrella.

This appears to be the first time in 2024 that Beatrice and William attended an official event together. The two were both at the annual Christmas morning service at Sandringham on Dec. 25, with William's wife Kate Middleton and their three children also in attendance.
But at the next major holiday event, Easter, William, Kate and their children did not attend, choosing to spend the holiday together in private. It was shortly after Kate announced her cancer diagnosis and shared that she was undergoing preventative treatment. Beatrice is suspected to be taking on a few of Kate's royal duties the year as she recovers.
The British royal family holds multiple garden parties each year. King Charles III hosted the first one of the season at the start of May with Queen Camilla at his side. Soon afterward, Charles made history by hosting the first-ever Sovereign's Creative Industries Garden Party, with the king and his wife wearing pink for the occasion.
Charles is still undergoing cancer treatment, and he recently shared that he lost his sense of taste as a result, noting that it could be temporary, or a permanent effect of the treatment.
