Princess Charlene of Monaco Favors Ethereal Dressing With Sensual Twists in Elie Saab’s ‘Midriff-baring’ Jumpsuit at Monte-Carlo Television Festival 2024
Princess Charlene of Monaco was dressed in Elie Saab for the 2024 Monte-Carlo Television Festival’s opening ceremony on Tuesday in Monaco. Her outfit consisted of a white jumpsuit with cutouts across the bodice adorned with lace inserts, a one-shoulder neckline creating an asymmetric silhouette and wide-leg pants. The royal completed her look with pear-shaped diamond drop earrings and gold metallic pumps.
Charlene’s jumpsuit was from Elie Saab’s spring 2024 collection, which featured “plenty of midriff-baring cutouts,” as WWD previously reported. The brand opened its first flagship boutique in Monaco in July 2023.

Charlene was seen wearing Elie Saab in March, while she attended the 2024 Rose Ball in a sparkling ’70s-inspired jumpsuit.
At the Monte-Carlo Television Festival, Princess Charlene was accompanied by her husband, Prince Albert II, who serves as the honorary president of the festival — a tradition started by his father, Prince Rainier III, in the early 1960s.
The festival recognizes professionals in the television industry and it’s known for its Golden Nymph Awards ceremony. As a member of the Monegasque royal family, Charlene regularly presents some of the prestigious Golden Nymph statuettes to winners, such as handing out the Prince Rainier III Special Prize which is selected by her husband.
Princess Charlene attended the Olympic flame torch relay ceremony hours before the festival’s opening ceremony. She carried the flame in front of the statue of Malizia at Palace Square. The event marked the first passage of the Olympic flame through Monaco in 56 years, harking back to its journey to the 1968 Winter Olympics in Grenoble.
