Princess Kate and Prince William Are All Smiles in Never-Before-Seen Photo
Prince William, Prince of Wales and Catherine Princess of Wales
A bed and breakfast located in Wales has been holding onto figurative gold amid Princess Kate Middleton's disappearance in the form of a never-before-seen photo of the royal couple.
Middleton and her husband, Prince William, stopped by the Duffryn Mawr Country House in April 2023, where they spent the night during a trip to the Welsh village of Aberfan—where 116 elementary students were killed in 1966 during a mudslide from a local coal waste dump—based on their clothing.
During that trip, they also visited with the Central Beacons Mountain Rescue Team at the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park, where they ran through several rescue-related exercises.
On the year anniversary of the trip, the bed and breakfast shared a sweet snap from their stay on Facebook, showing off the princess' signature in their guestbook before posting a photo of the couple posing with several members of the hotel's staff outside of an ornate stone wall covered in vines.
"It's been 1 year since we welcomed William and Kate, the Prince and Princess of Wales, to Duffryn Mawr!" they wrote on Facebook. "We were delighted to welcome William and Kate for a night here when they visited The Brecon Beacons. So kind and friendly, it was a pleasure to have them stay here."
Located in Brecon Beacons, the property is offered up as a gorgeous wedding venue, featuring seven bedrooms that can sleep 16 people in total. Guests are granted complete access to the entire house, including a spa, game room, bar, and 16 acres of land.
It's a nice glimpse for fans of the royal family amid the princess' absence from the public eye—especially after the "dreadful" portrait recently created of her—but fans are certainly itching for a current sighting.
