Priyanka Chopra Squirms as Andy Cohen Asks About Nick Jonas Dating Rumors
On Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Baywatch bad girl Priyanka Chopra got a little uncomfortable when Cohen asked about her Met Gala date, Nick Jonas. Chopra has said that she and Jonas were both wearing Ralph Lauren so they decided to go together because, sure, that makes perfect sense.
Cohen’s line of questioning was intended to find out if Chopra and Jonas are dating. Chopra danced around the question and never gave a definitive yes or no. In fact, she says they didn’t even flirt because there wasn’t time. Cohen caught her there, pointing out that the Met Gala is a very long event. Chopra then said that they had a lot of interesting people at their table like Michael B. Jordan and Armie Hammer. Also present at their table was the designer of Chopra and Jonas’s outfits, Ralph Lauren, and his wife.
One thing Cohen didn’t ask is if this is all just a brilliant marketing scheme by Ralph Lauren. Take two single celebrities, dress them in your clothes, send them to a huge event, and say they only went together because they wore your clothes. Rumors will no doubt start to swirl, meaning tons of free press for Ralph Lauren.
But the dating angle is way more fun, so Cohen stuck to that. When he couldn’t get a straight answer about whether or not Chopra and Jonas are dating at present, he looked to the future. Cohen asked if there’s a possibility she and Jonas will date in the future, but once again, Chopra didn’t answer the question.
