Queen Camilla’s ‘Most Incredible’ Night Out With ‘All’ Her Grandkids Raises a Lot of Questions

Queen Camilla reportedly had a lovely secret outing with her biological grandkids earlier this year, and we’re as happy as we are curious. During a chat with actors commemorating the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art’s 120th anniversary, Camilla mentioned she saw a performance of Guys and Dolls at London’s Bridge Theater with her grandchildren.

“It was fantastic,” she told Daniel Mays, per Hello! Mays, who played one of the show’s lead characters, Nathan Detroit, said she saw the musical “about three months ago.”

“She loved it and she took all her grandkids and they said they had the most incredible night,” he said.

Which is so nice to hear! But also leaves us with questions. “All” her grandkids? We have to assume that means her biological grandchildren because Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet haven’t been to the UK and there’s no way this would have been kept a secret if Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis were there.

Which — by the way — why was this kept a secret? You would think the palace would have liked to share some wholesome news “about three months ago” when they were in the throes of dealing with Kate Middleton conspiracy theories.

We also have to wonder why wasn’t King Charles III wasn’t there. Of course, he has a busy schedule and health concerns, but just how much time does he spend bonding with his second wife’s grandchildren outside of the royal engagements they sometimes attend? Inquiring minds would like to know!

Camilla shares five teenage grandkids with her ex-husband, Andrew Parker Bowles. Their son Tom shares Lola and Frederick with his ex-wife Sara Buys. And their daughter Laura shares Eliza and twins Gus and Louis with her husband Harry Lopes.

Louis Lopes made headlines earlier this year when Buckingham Palace scrambled to clarify a statement made by the queen consort. In March, Camilla traveled to the Isle of Man and delivered a speech on behalf of her husband. When speaking with people in the crowd, she met 15-week-old twins, Louie and Oliver. “I have a Louis grandson…quite a handful,” Camilla reportedly said.

Now, if you know anything about Prince Louis — the 6-year-old son of Prince William and Kate Middleton — you would get the impression that he is indeed a handful. As he should be! He’s a kid! An adorable little kid who’s known for his hilarious antics that are not quite as prim and proper as the royal family might like. (I mean, have you seen him at past Trooping the Colours?)

But Buckingham Palace could not have the public thinking that a member of the British Royal Family was a *gasp* handful! And so they clarified that she was talking about her 14-year-old grandson Louis Lopes.

And believe us, we could totally see the teen being the handful. Or maybe he just had to take the fall. OR! Perhaps both the boys are handfuls. We’re just in awe of the ridiculous scramble to make sure no one thought the fourth in line to the throne was a “handful.” Can you imagine the global turmoil if that was indeed the case? The economic downfall?!

If Louis Lopes is indeed the culprit, we’re at least glad to hear that his disposition didn’t make his grandma exclude him from a “fantastic” night at the theater with her and his cousins.
