Queen Camilla is Off to the Races in Dressy Cream-Colored Heels at the Ebor Festival in England
More from Footwear News
Queen Camilla attended the Ebor Festival today in York, Eng.
The royal opened the racecourse’s latest development, the new, state-of-the-art complex called the Bustardthorpe Development at York Racecourse. The new addition has been designed to improve the experience for racegoers with sustainability in mind featuring rainwater harvest tanks, solar panels and a living roof.
Classic and simple, Camilla sported a pair of cream-colored pumps. Fixed with lush neutral leather uppers, sharp almond-shaped toes embellished with buckle-inspired accents and short block heels, the silhouette is both stylish and functional, marrying both concepts perfectly.
The royal is a fan of comfy footwear styles, often elevated with subtle detailing, print work or sleek coloring that offsets the less impactful short heel. This styling trick is utilized by many women of the royal family. Comparable styles to Camilla’s own can be purchased from top brands like Vince Camuto, Charles & Keith, Revolve, Nine West, Mango and Cole Haan, among others.
Accompanying her neutral footwear pick, Camilla sported a pale blue coat dress featuring a tailored fit and structural shoulder. Decorative floral-inspired trim was featured on the sleeves and lapel down the front, offering the garment a dainty textural quality. This style of dress is a common one for the public figure. A pin was fastened to the bodice of the royal’s dress. Matching the color scheme of her dress, Camilla sported gold jewelry featuring blue accents, accompanied by a cream-colored hat fixed with a light blue ribbon and feather detailing.
Some of the footwear styles Camilla has frequently worn include Sole Bliss and Chanel’s block-heeled pumps in a range of neutral, navy and pink tones over the years for formal occasions. The queen is also a lover of suede styles of all kinds, much like other royal family women.
