Queen Letizia of Spain Embraces the Liquid Look in Sleeveless Boss Dress With Michael Douglas for Atlántida Mallorca Film Festival Closing Ceremony
Queen Letizia of Spain was among the distinguished guests who attended the closing ceremony for the 14th edition of the Atlántida Mallorca Film Fest at La Misericordia in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, on Sunday. The Spanish royal was joined by stars like Michael Douglas and more.
For the occasion, Queen Letizia opted for the liquid look, fashioning a dress courtesy of Hugo Boss. The sleeveless Boss dress featured two spaghetti straps with a contemporary layered neckline and liquid-soft fabric. In a certain light, the fabric of Queen Letizia’s midi dress even featured a glossy effect.

Along with her dress, Queen Letizia accessorized with a pair of metallic strappy sandals courtesy of Mango, a fashion label she previously wore during the XV anniversary of the Princess of Girona Foundation at the Melia Lloret de Mar Hotel alongside members of her family in Barcelona on July 9.
As a finishing touch to her look, Queen Letizia wore a pair of earrings by Barbara Goenaga. The final formal ensemble was evocative of the type of contemporary designs Letizia fashioned in the recent past.
Although Queen Letizia’s style can best be described as bearing two distinct qualities — merging traditional, classic silhouettes with modern elements and embellishments — her recent attire has favored the latter characteristic much more.
Prior to the closing ceremonies of the Atlántida Mallorca Film Festival, Queen Letizia joined fellow dignitaries at the Spanish embassy in Paris ahead of the 2024 Olympics opening ceremony. For the reception, Queen Letizia paid sartorial homage to the host city of this year’s Olympics, wearing a sleeveless dress from the Christian Dior couture spring 2024 collection, which featured extravagant embellishments and a fleur-de-lis on the bodice of the garment.
Apart from the silhouettes and styles Queen Letizia of Spain often favors, the royal’s wardrobe consistently features designs that are both trendy and timeless. Between the ongoing 2024 Olympics and other engagements the royal has in store, these attributes of her fashion will surely be on display.
