Queen Naija And Youngboy Never Broke Again Declare “No Fake Love” In Music Video
Queen Naija and Youngboy Never Broke Again surround themselves with realness in the official music video for “No Fake Love.”
Directed by Sara Lacombe, the visual finds the two musicians enjoying each other’s company while performing the collaboration’s reflective lyrics.
“I’ma force by myself, every time, I’ma bet on me,” sings the Michigan native over the bass-filled beat, which samples Amerie’s 2002 hit “Why Don’t We Fall In Love.”
The Baton Rouge rapper follows up, rhyming “I ain’t what you like, then coach me
How you just gon’ up and throw me?”
“No Fake Love” follows the 27-year-old’s previous singles “Words Of Affirmation” and “Let’s Talk About It“. The latter of the two arrived at the top of the year as the singer reached the 5-year anniversary of her breakout track “Medicine” released on New Year’s Day in 2018
“It’s love in real life. I get love in real life,” shared Queen Naija with XONecole.
“When I go to my shows, I see all those lights lighting up in the crowd,” she stated. “When I reach the mic out, and I don’t have to sing my own words. That’s what it’s about right there. This social media stuff is fake. That’s how I cut through it. I just think about the love I have in real life.”
