‘Queer Eye’ Season 9 trailer reveals the new member of the Fab Five [Watch]
When “Queer Eye,” Netflix’s six-time Best Structured Reality Program winner, returns for its ninth season next month, it will look a little different, and not just because this season is set in Las Vegas. The new trailer for the series released on Wednesday reveals new design guru Jeremiah Brent, who is taking over the role in the Fab Five from Bobby Berk, who departed after Season 8.
“Girl, have you seen Jeremiah? She got the design skills, honey,” culture and lifestyle expert Karamo Brown enthuses in the trailer. Brent joins the original cast of Brown, grooming specialist Jonathan Van Ness, fashion stylist Tan France, and food expert Antoni Porowski as they help nice people overcome obstacles preventing them from living life to the fullest. “Is this what it feels like every time?” Brent says at the end of the trailer, after his first time seeing how the show has changed someone’s life.

Brent, an accomplished interior designer who previously hosted the wedding show “Say I Do” from “Queer Eye” producers Scout Productions, joined the cast in February following Berk’s exit last November amidst cast tensions as reported in a Rolling Stone investigation alleging a “toxic work environment” on the show including Van Ness’ “rage issues,” a claim Van Ness denies.
“Queer Eye” Season 9 premieres Dec. 11 on Netflix. The hosts are also going on tour in conjunction with the new season. “For an unforgettable evening of laughter, self-love, and surprises,” head to Fabfivelive.com.
