Rachel Weisz on why she probably won't work with husband Daniel Craig again: 'Less ideal'
Rachel Weisz does not like to mix business with pleasure when it comes to her husband Daniel Craig.
Weisz, who unveiled her latest project "Dead Ringers" on Saturday at Cannes International Series Festival, explained to Willie Geist on "Sunday Today" why she prefers to work separately from Craig, 55.
The Hollywood couple last worked together 10 years ago.
"I think we aren’t going to (co-star) at the moment," said Weisz, 53. "We really love our private life as a life, as a family. And then we go to work separately."
Weisz and Craig first worked together in 1994 for the play "Les Grandes Horizontales" at the National Theatre Studio in London. They later starred in the 2011 horror movie "Dream House." The couple eventually returned to their theater roots, starring together in Broadway's 2013 production of "Betrayal."

"We really enjoyed that experience," Weisz told Geist, but says the pair prefers to "alternate" acting schedules.
"The Mummy" star added, "I can stay home with the family while he works. We can swap out. If we’re both doing something at the same time, it’s probably less ideal."
Weisz and Craig share a 4-year-old daughter, whose name hasn't been shared. Weisz is also mother to a teenage son, Henry, whose father is director Darren Aronofsky, and Craig has a grown daughter, Ella, with first wife Fiona Loudon.

Craig is a few months out from his most recent project, Netflix's "Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery." Meanwhile, Weisz is making her return to the small screen as the producer and star of Amazon Prime Video's "Dead Ringers."
Weisz portrays a pair of twisted identical-twin gynecologists, Elliot and Beverly Mantle, in the reimagined version of the 1988 thriller film, which starred Jeremy Irons as the twins.
The actress was applauded by audiences at Canneseries. However, a few viewers walked out during gruesome scenes depicting childbirth and gynecological procedures, according to Variety.
"Dead Ringers" premieres April 21 on Prime Video.
