Rapper Big Boogie to celebrate new album with event at Moneybagg Yo's Memphis restaurant
Memphis rapper and CMG label artist Big Boogie is hosting a hometown release event to mark his new album, “Redrum Wizard.”
Big Boogie will be celebrating the album in Memphis on Sunday with a special show at Cache 42 Kitchen and Cocktails at 4205 Hacks Cross Road. Big Boogie's CMG labelmate Moneybagg Yo owns the restaurant.
In a Instagram post to his nearly 1 million followers on Monday night, Big Bogie announced the event noting, “I Haven’t Had A Show Home In A Minute. Big Dude In The Building I’m Finna Wall To Wall This Mf.” The Memphis release event will follow a similar celebration in Atlanta on Friday.
Big Boogie’s “Redrum Wizard” is an 18-track affair that features collaborations with CMG label head Yo Gotti, Grammy-nominated Memphis rap star GloRilla, Brooklyn MC Lola Brooke and producer DJ Drama, among others.

The album comes on the heels of a productive 2023 for Boogie, which saw him tour with Moneybagg Yo and appear on the second CMG label “Gangsta Art” compilation, and make high-profile performances at the Beale Street Music Festival and the University of Memphis' Student Madness.
Since signing with Gotti’s label in late 2020, Boogie has built his following with the breakout single “Pop Out,” which hit No. 11 on the Urban Mainstream charts and album project “Underrated” which garnered more than 200 million streams on its way to RIAA gold certification.
