"Panda" Rapper Desiigner Cites A Reaction To Prescribed Medication As The Reason He Exposed Himself On A Plane

Desiigner has sought out professional help after exposing himself on a plane.

According to a recent TMZ report, the "Panda" rapper was headed back to the United States on an international flight, with stops in Thailand and Tokyo, when he exposed himself on the plane. He was later "scolded" by a flight attendant.

He was met by the cops when he landed in Minneapolis on Monday and ultimately released.

On Thursday, Desiigner took to Instagram to reveal what he believes led up to the incident, citing a chemical imbalance from the prescribed medication he was taking.

"For the past few months I have not been okay," Desiigner wrote in an Instagram story. "And I have been struggling to come to terms with what is going on."

"While overseas for a concert I performed at, I had to be admitted into a hospital. I was not thinking clearly. They gave me meds, and I had to hop on a plane home."

Desiigner admitted that he's "ashamed" of what happened on the plane and made the decision to get help as soon as he landed.

"I landed back to the states, and am admitting myself in a facility to help me."

The 25-year-old Brooklyn native revealed he'll be canceling all of his shows and public obligations until further notice.

"Mental health is real guys, please pray for me. If your not feeling like yourself please get help."

Glad he'll be using this time to take care of himself and his mental health.
