Rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine completes house arrest, shoots new music video; girlfriend Jade reveals 'I'm pregnant'
Tekashi 6ix9ine has officially completed his house arrest.
The rapper, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, was ordered freed from a Manhattan federal lockup in April. U.S. District Judge Paul Engelmayer called for him to serve the last four months of his two-year sentence at an undisclosed location out of concern that the rapper, who has asthma, would be at risk for coronavirus in federal prison.
"I'm free," Hernandez, 24, wrote in an Instagram post Sunday afternoon, announcing an Instagram Live session. "I'll be in my city outside."
His lawyer Lance Lazzaro confirmed to USA TODAY that Hernandez has finished home confinement and shot a music video in Brooklyn Sunday.
The rapper debuted the new music video for an expletive-filled song referencing female genitalia. He recorded with a large group of people standing in the street, ordering at a McDonald's, driving and sitting atop moving cars around New York. Some members of the group wore masks and a few appeared to be wearing bulletproof vests.
"WHO SAID WE AINT OUTSIDEEEEEE," he wrote in a post announcing the video. "BROOKLYN THIS MY TOWN NEW YORK THIS MY CITYYYY YOU HEAR ME!?!?! KING OF (expletive) NEW YORK YA COULD NEVA DO WHAT I DID AND BE OUTSIDE DUMMY!"
Also on Sunday, his girlfriend Jade, whose real name Rachel Wattley, revealed "I'm pregnant" in an Instagram post. In the video, Jade plays Tekashi 6ix9ine music while wearing a hot pink jumpsuit.and reveals no further information.
Hernandez already has 4-year-old daughter, Saraiyah Hernandez, with ex Sara Molina.
USA TODAY has reached out to Wattley and Hernandez for further comment.
Hernandez was sentenced last December to two years in prison for his entanglement with a violent street gang that fueled his rise to fame, but was spared a harsher sentence because of his extraordinary decision to become a star witness for prosecutors.
The judge at sentencing called his cooperation “game-changing” and "brave" while Tekashi 6ix9ine expressed remorse.

The rapper has continued to share new content throughout his house arrest. On May 8, just weeks after beginning home confinement, he released a new song and video created in confinement.
In “Gooba,” the multi-tattooed rapper put on a rainbow-colored performance accompanied by six women and a puppy. At times, his ankle monitor was plainly visible.
