Rapper Warren G., who is known for his role in West Coast rap's 1990s ascent, will be in El Paso for a performance Saturday at the Abraham Chavez Theatre. Also coming are DJ Quik, Mack 10, Kid Frost, The Dogg Pound and Amanda Perez. Tickets are $49 to $149, plus fees, at Ticketmaster.com.
Charity Golf tournament
The Second Annual Border Youth Athletic Association Charity Golf Tournament will take place Saturday at Butterfield Trail Golf Club, 1858 Cottonwoods. Special guest will be former MLB player and manager Ozzie Guillén. Fees are $150 per person and $600 for a team of four. Multiplatinum singer Sara Evans will perform at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Inn of the Mountain Gods in Mescalero, New Mexico. Doors will open at 6 p.m.
Her hits include “No Place That Far,” “Suds In The Bucket,” “A Real Fine Place To Start” and “A Little Bit Stronger.” She has earned the Academy of Country Music Top Female vocalist accolade, as well as numerous American Music, Billboard Music, Country Music Association, CMT and Grammy awards nominations.

Frank Ray headlines Mira Las Cruces event
?Mira! Las Cruces is set to kick off its first event Saturday with a mix of family-friendly activities by day and live music by night. The event, presented by Visit Las Cruces, highlights the art and culture, cuisine, outdoor recreation and the sights and sounds that make the city and its surrounding communities one of a kind. The festival is from 2 to 10 p.m. Saturday at Plaza de Las Cruces and is free for all ages. Local talent and rising country star Frank Ray headlines, along with opening acts Rodeo Norte?o and Proud Pete.
