Raven Symoné surprises fans by announcing marriage to Miranda Pearman-Maday
Raven Symoné is a married woman.
The former Disney actress announced the happy news to social media Thursday by sharing a photo with her new wife Miranda Pearman-Maday.
"I got married to a woman who understands me from trigger to joy, from breakfast to midnight snack, from stage to home," Symoné, 34, captioned the photo. "I love you Mrs. Pearman-Maday! ...!!! I’s married NOW."
Shortly before sharing the news, the former co-host of "The View" shared a picture of a bubbly drink and hinted at a huge life event.
"So something happened this week, that has changed my life FOR THE BETTER!," she wrote.
Symoné implied that her wedding was an intimate affair when she followed up her announcement by thanking those "who helped and for those who understand why it was small during this time."
Many people have had to scale down weddings, baby showers and graduations due to COVID-19 social distancing regulations.
The intimate celebration did include at least one celebrity: Debbie Allen.
The choreographer and "Grey's Anatomy" actress didn't just attend Symoné's wedding, she also catered it.
"I was the caterer for guess who’s wedding," Allen tweeted Friday alongside selfies with Symoné and her new wife.

Pearman-Maday also shared some snaps from the big day to her Instagram stories. Symoné can be seen dressed in a black outfit, while her wife donned a white dress and a veil. The subsequent photo showed three wedding attendees wearing masks.
The former "That's So Raven" star is known for keeping a low profile. Back in 2012, she tweeted about her sexual orientation, writing: "My sexual orientation is mine, and the person I'm datings to know. I'm not one for a public display of my life."
The actress rose to fame on Disney's "That's So Raven," which ran from 2003 to 2007. Symoné starred in several Disney Channel movies and shows before joining "The View" in 2015.
In 2016, the actress announced she was leaving the talk show to move to Los Angeles for a modern spinoff of "That's So Raven."
In "Raven's Home," airing on Disney Channel, Symoné reprises her title role as Raven Baxter. She's still psychic and sassy, but is now a divorced mom with two tweens of her own, one of whom has inherited her knack for clairvoyance. The series just wrapped its third season in January and has been renewed for Season 4.
