Ray J Claims Some Celebs Are Paying Off Diddy’s Alleged Victims To Remain Anonymous
Ray J is claiming to have knowledge that several celebrities are exchanging payment for silence from Diddy’s alleged victims.
The singer appeared in the new TMZ documentary, TMZ Presents The Downfall of Diddy: Inside the Freak Offs, where he alleged, “I’m hearing about artists paying victims to keep their names out of it.” He later stated that people “want to talk” to him because they “trust” him.
Ray stated that people have reached out to him because they want to keep their Diddy affiliation anonymous. “Here’s what I do know, people do catch and kills all day… for the regular world, somebody has a truth, somebody pays you to keep it quiet and hopefully that money you got paid secures your happiness while you watch the lie continue to succeed,” explained the father of two.
As far as his own “freak-off” participation is concerned, Ray claimed, “I’ve never freaked off. I’ve never been to any freak-off with any of my friends because I don’t like freaking off in front of people. That’s just not my thing […] I don’t like f**king in front of my friends.”
Despite a bit of verbal diarrhea, the crooner expressed, “What I’m saying is I don’t go to freak-offs because I don’t freak-off like that. Now, I can’t say that other people I don’t know are freaks. Were they at the freak-offs? I hope not.”
Ray then questioned whether the freak-offs “were really real” because he allegedly never received an invite despite having the “biggest sex tape in the world.” He stated, “Now I’m starting to think all this s**t fabricated.”
The “One Wish” singer didn’t divulge names or specify activities these celebrities engaged in, but spoke on how some accusers may have only come forward as a “money grab.” He ultimately stated, “I’ve said too much.”
Ray J also mentioned that the video of Diddy assaulting Cassie did alter how he viewed Diddy, but now has “more of a forgiving heart.”
The new documentary comes after TMZ’s initial Downfall Of Diddy breakdown. Since then, Diddy was arrested and charged with abuse, sex trafficking, racketeering, and more. He’s pled not guilty and is being held in federal custody in Brooklyn without bail.
His trial is set for May 2025.
