What would you do to get the house of your dreams? And if you were trying to sell that house, what would you do to cover up a secret that would drive the price down if anyone found out?

Those are the questions you’ll ponder during “No Good Deed,” a darkly comic thriller series from “Dead to Me” creator Liz Feldman. It revolves around a beautiful house in a desirable L.A. neighborhood owned by Paul (Ray Romano) and Lydia (Lisa Kudrow), who are trying to sell the house to escape the dark secret the house holds for them. The potential buyers include Luke Wilson, Linda Cardellini, Abbi Jacobson and Poppy Liu, and Teyonah Parris and O-T Fagbenle, who are locked in an intense competition for the house. And Denis Leary is poking around, too. The twisty story turns to cover-ups, blackmail, and murder, because that’s what it takes in this market.

If that doesn’t sell you on it, watch the trailer and see how Kudrow describes Cardellini as looking like “an AI generated bitch.”

In addition to the main cast, guest stars include Matt Rogers, Kate Moennig, Chloe East, Rory Scovel, Wyatt Aubrey, Kevin Alves, and Linda Lavin, with Anna Maria Horsford as Parris’ character’s intense mother-in-law, Denise. Silver Tree (“The Flight Attendant”) directs. Executive producers include Will Ferrell and Jessica Elbaum for Gloria Sanchez Productions.

“No Good Deed” premieres Dec. 12 on Netflix.
