Real Housewives of Dubai Season 2, Episode 12 Recap: Golf Gone Wild
Welcome back for our Real Housewives of Dubai Season 2, Episode 12 recap, where the drama is quickly ramping back up. During this week’s episode, “Serving the Tee,” the ladies laugh and (verbally) lunge at each other during an overnight golf trip. The drama also transpires at a skincare launch party, bumming Lesa out like crazy. As a result, Lesa, Brooks, and Taleen helped end Real Housewives of Dubai Season 2, Episode 12, in a messy spot.
Stanbury’s parents arrive in Dubai as Lesa finally launches her skincare line
Stanbury is excited to show off her completed mansion to her visiting parents. They are in Dubai for Zack and Aaron, her sons, bar mitzvah. This event did not get filmed, but Sergio Carrallo jokes that it was so beautiful he almost cried. Again.
Stanbury tells her mum about her hypnotherapist session. Her time spent, against her will, in boarding school is a big trigger. Her mother waves this away, noting that boarding school was what rich people did back then. Knowing she can never get her mother to understand, Stanbury drops it.
Across town, Lesa is equally thrilled to launch her new skincare line underneath her Mina Roe umbrella. She has invited the ladies to a spa for a day of pampering and swag bags.
Taleen leads a yoga class for the ladies at Lesa’s rented spa. Also, I could watch Chanel exercise for days. Bless her heart.
Afterwards, the ladies begin their spa treatments. While waiting for a room to open up, Sara recaps what we learned last week. Her maid is vile. Her young son remains traumatized after learning about what this troll was doing with his images.
Sara is open with her son, so he knows the details of this case. Lesa, however, wishes Sara sheltered her kid from these facts. As a mother also stuck in a sh*tty life trench, I side with Lesa here. But I digress, as this is hard.
Brooks sneaks into Stanbury and Taleen’s treatment room as Lesa pops into Chanel’s room. Lesa asks Chanel how she is doing. She then jokes with her friend, telling Chanel she has grown far too close to Stanbury.
And the drama begins.
Lesa finally owns her jealousy as Brooks grows annoyed over Lesa’s chosen launch location
Lesa asks Chanel, “Haven’t you learned your lesson? Isn’t she the reason why we are having issues?” Chanel chuckles, revealing she has love for Stanbury and Lesa. But she wants Lesa to relax, as Chanel is “a friendly f*cking b*tch.”
Shockingly, Lesa finally admits that Chanel’s friendship with Stanbury makes her jealous. Looking like an early-rising Hadada that caught Dubai’s fattest worms, Chanel giggles, “Ohhhhh. Finally.”
Stanbury’s room speculates on the price of this launch. Lesa rented an entire spa, so this day was not cheap. They wonder why Lesa did not turn to Brooks and ask her to host this event at her spa, The Glass House, for free. Brooks is equally confused about this.
Taleen and Stanbury encourage Brooks to speak to Lesa about this. In her confessional, Brooks accuses Lesa of trying to pretend like she owns this rented spa, because “why else would she [Lesa] decal” the floors and walls to “try and make it look like she owns the venue?”
Taleen and Stanbury encourage Brooks to speak to Lesa about this. In her confessional, Brooks accuses Lesa of pretending that this rented spa was her own. In real-time, Brooks presents softer, saying, “I wouldn’t put my friend, who has spent millions in building her business independently, in a position where she felt uncomfortable.” Her room once again encourages her to speak to Lesa.
Sara is struggling, as are her costars on the green
Sara and her man Akin are struggling. He wants to fix things, but Sara needs a solution, noting all Akin does is push things under the rug. Sara refuses to settle, which pleases Saba, who has met up with her friend for dinner.
Sara is tired, and Saba’s heart hurts for her. She does her best to remind Sara of her worth. Sara tells Saba she feels guilty because she is in this world to help others, not fight. “Saba the sabotager” threatens to fly to Germany to take care of Akin herself.
Taleen and Rafi host an overnight golf trip in a 7-star hotel. *Cries and types in poor. Everyone arrives, loving their accommodations. Brooks arrives late since she has to work in a spa that she owns. Cough, cough.
Chanel puts on her best ball gown to drive one of their golf carts. At their first hole, Brooks helps Sara with her stance. Saba, a self-proclaimed professional, does not need help. Except she swings like me, and this is not a compliment.
Chanel shocks everyone by nailing her putt, quipping, “The baller has arrived, b*tches.” Not joking is Lesa. She found out Brooks refused all spa services gifted at her Mina Roe launch. Taleen encourages Lesa to speak with Brooks.
So she does. After their game, they all sit for drinks. Brooks explains why she sat out. That was not her spa or staff, so using these services would create “a conflict of interest.”
Lesa apologizes, stressing nothing was intentional. Taleen jumps in, calling out Lesa’s branding of this event space. Chanel stands up for Lesa, but Lesa is already on the defense, with her verbal weapons pointed directly at Taleen.
A golf trip gone wild on RHODubai
The ladies begin yelling over each other, as Taleen takes offense to Lesa’s words. She feels like Lesa is putting her down for not owning a business. Except Taleen does, she yells back. Then, the fingers start (literally) pointing.
“You cannot go to a Mina Roe event and not expect to f*cking see Mina Roe everywhere,” Lesa yells. “I saw it in my ass-crack that day,” Taleen answers. “I would have put it up further if I could,” Lesa responds. Sara and Brooks call for a ceasefire.
They re-center and back down, as only this cast can. But their peace fails to last.
At dinner with their men, Sara introduces a game. Whoever answers each question correctly knows their spouse the best. Many laughs transpire. But then Brooks and Chanel host a side chat that pricks a few nearby ears.
Brooks notices Lesa is listening, so she tells Lesa she supports her. Lesa points out that Brooks uses “outside services” too. “The African people come to your salon to do your wig,” Lesa states. Brooks argues that her services are all done within her salon, and she has been using the same glam squad she has employed for years.
In her confessional, Lesa calls Brooks a hater. At the table, Taleen refuses to get involved, noting that Lesa has called her a b*tch too many times lately. “Well, you were acting one, Taleen,” Lesa says.
The words “trashy,” “ghetto,” and “b*tch” start flying as the credits role on Real Housewives of Dubai, Season 2, Episode 12.
Real Housewives of Dubai Season 2 continues every Tuesday on Bravo at 9/8c.
