Rebecca Budig Teases Shocking Twist As The Reason for Taylor’s Return On Bold and the Beautiful
It’s been a month since Taylor’s surprising return to The Bold and the Beautiful. After being gone for almost a year, the world-renowned psychiatrist is ready to settle back home in Los Angeles. But is there an ulterior motive behind her return?
She Needs Her Family
During the past 34 years, Taylor (Rebecca Budig) has come and gone many times. Every time she leaves, there’s always the question of when or if she’ll return.
After her last departure, fans thought they’d seen the last of the beloved doctor. But they were surprised when Taylor popped up in Monte Carlo, spying on Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang). Now, she’s home in Los Angeles, reunited with her daughter Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), and ready to make her stay permanent.
While fans are happy Taylor is back, they can’t help but be suspicious. Most of the time, when a character returns, it’s because of a secret. Upcoming fall previews hint that Ridge learns about his ex-wife’s shocking reason for returning.
So, is there any truth to these spoilers?
According to Budig, there is. In a recent interview with Soaps In Depth, the actress teased viewers will find out the reason soon. While she’s tight-lipped on the reason, she did offer some insight into the storyline.
“I will say I think it’s just important for her to be with her family,” Budig revealed. “I think what’s important to her is being with her daughter, who’s been through so many things since she’s been gone, and I think she feels like she’s missed out on being a support system for her. So yeah, she’s back to be with her family…and also Ridge.”
What is Taylor’s reason for returning? Could it be related to her health? Or maybe the doctor has some other troubles? Whatever the reason, Taylor’s comeback will create plenty of turmoil for Brooke and Ridge.
