‘Rectify’ Series Finale Preview: Closure, Redemption, and Hope for the Future
Don’t worry, we’re not spoiling anything major from tonight’s Rectify series finale, except to say that we’re betting viewers will be very satisfied with the wrap-up to SundanceTV’s wonderful four-season drama.

In the preview clip above, Amantha (Abigail Spencer) and former love Jon (Luke Kirby) talk about their futures, as progress in Daniel’s (Aden Young) legal case means the duo will likely spend less time together. She tells him she hopes he takes some time to consider his next career move after quitting his job with Justice Row. “You’re one of the good guys, Jon,” she tells him, “and you’re fighting on the side of the righteous.”

Amantha, who put her own life on hold for years while trying to get justice for Daniel, also shares an “epiphany” she had while enjoying some herbal refreshments in a satellite dish.
“Doesn’t matter what happens at this point… nothing will rectify what happened,” she tells Jon. “It won’t bring back Hanna or my dad or my 18-year-old brother.”
That nod to the series title is more hopeful than it may initially sound, and, again, without spoilers, be advised that the supersize, nearly two-hour series end will require a generous supply of tissues as we bid adieu to one of the best ensemble casts on TV.
The Rectify series finale airs Dec. 14 at 10 p.m. on SundanceTV.
