Ree Drummond Gives Fans a Behind-the-Scenes Glimpse Into Filming ‘Pioneer Woman’ at Home

Ree Drummond is giving fans an inside peek at filming her Food Network show, The Pioneer Woman, from her very own kitchen—and like most remote workers, she had to admit, she "liked the commute."

The TV personality took to Instagram Stories on Monday, Aug. 19 to share a behind-the-scenes clip of herself talking through a recipe, camera equipment and crew situated around her to make the television magic happen.

The social media video—which was appropriately set to the tune of Randy Travis' 1986 country hit "No Place Like Home—displayed Drummond wearing an airy, peach-colored dress with her ginger, shoulder-length tresses worn down straight.

The 55-year-old looked ever the professional on-camera, gathering together some ingredients as she continued to explain the steps to prepare the meal she was creating.

"Filmed my @foodnetwork show at home today," text over the snippet read. "(I liked the commute)," she jokingly added.

The Pioneer Woman first debuted in 2011, and is now filming its 37th season. For those unfamiliar, "Noted food blogger and cookbook author Ree Drummond, known to her fans as 'The Pioneer Woman,' is a sassy former city slicker who has moved to a ranch in Oklahoma to live with her rancher husband and their children (not to mention her extended family, a menagerie of animals)," according to a show synopsis. "Drummond makes the jump from print to TV in this series as she invites viewers into her life (and kitchen), sharing her brand of home cooking, from suppers that are thrown together in a hurry to preparing elaborate celebrations."

The cooking series airs Saturdays at 10 AM/9 AM central.
