Reese Witherspoon’s Relationship With Oliver Haarmann Is Reportedly a 180 From Her Marriage to Jim Toth
In between starring and producing her hit show The Morning Show, and running her ultra-successful book club, Reese Witherspoon has managed to strike up a new relationship with German private equity financier Oliver Haarmann. And as sources continue to dish about their budding connection, we’re growing more and more confident that they might be the real deal.
According to new sources, for example, Witherspoon’s connection with Haarmann has been a breath of fresh air for the Oscar winner. “Reese has been having such a great time with him,” a source told Life & Style. “He pampers her and loves taking her out to the best restaurants and to schmooze with his socialite friends. She’s excited to see where this goes.”

As a reminder, Haarmann and Witherspoon have been photographed going on a few dates recently in NYC, including taking a ride on a helicopter and dining in the famous Italian hotspot L’Artusi.
Per the sources, this pampering is “a world away” from her marriage with her ex, Jim Toth.
“Jim was always working, and when he wasn’t, he wanted to stay home and recharge,” the source explained. “Reese missed going on fun dates and having a social life.”
Toth and Witherspoon were married from 2011 until their split in the spring of 2023. The two share their 11-year-old son, Tennessee. Witherspoon’s also a mom to Ava, 24, and Deacon, 20, with her first husband Ryan Phillippe.
And speaking of Ava and Deacon, it turns out they’ve already had a chance to meet Haarmann themselves. “They want to see her smiling and happy,” the source said of Witherspoon’s older kids. “She would never date a guy they didn’t approve of.” Looks like Haarmann is passing with flying colors!
