'Reno 911!' movie sequel confirmed! Thomas Lennon reveals hilarious title
Hold on to your short shorts, there will be another Reno 911! movie. Thomas Lennon, aka Lt. Jim Dangle, confirmed that the movie is in the works, saying, “Everybody’s in, we talked to everybody.”
The Comedy Central show’s co-creator added that scheduling between the actors is the only thing holding it back. Lennon’s castmate Niecy Nash hinted at a sequel in December.
He also revealed the potential plot and title. The sequel to Reno 911!: Miami might take place in the New York-New York Hotel in Las Vegas, making the title reasonably Reno 911!: Miami, New York-New York-Las Vegas 89109.
Lennon said the ZIP code is added to make it the “worst title of all time.”
Until then, Lennon’s starring in Puppet Master: The Littlest Reich. In the latest installment of Puppet Master, Lennon plays Edgar, a comic book writer who is attacked by Nazi puppets.
Given how emboldened the far right has become recently, we asked him if he was afraid of poking something in the face of Nazis. He responded, “Basically, if you say you’re a Nazi, yeah, you’re going to get poked.”
The ultra-gory horror film Puppet Master: The Littlest Reich is currently in theaters and On Demand/Digital HD.
