Who should replace Donald Trump as host of The Apprentice?

Donald Trump is no longer welcome at NBC, but the show he’s hosted for more than 10 years, The Apprentice, and its spin-off, The Celebrity Apprentice, are still part of the network’s family.

‘We are committed to this franchise,” NBC said in a statement on June 16, when Donald Trump first announced he was running for President of the United States. ‘We will re-evaluate Trump’s role as host of Celebrity Apprentice should it become necessary.”

Of course, on Monday, the network decided to sever ties with the mogul completely after he publicly made controversial and derogatory remarks about Mexican immigrants. (Trump released a statement calling the network “weak and foolish” in response, and may take legal action as well.)

But! The show must go on! And The Apprentice is going to need a new host.

EW staffers got together and picked some potential candidates that could trump the Trump at his own game. Following hosts? You’re Hired! (Maybe.)

Mark Cuban

He’s already familiar with the TV game as one of the investor sharks on Shark Tank—plus he’s a self-made billionaire and is already frenemies with The Donald: When Trump offered President Obama $5 million to the charity of his choice if he released passport applications to the public, Cuban offered $1 million to the charity of Trump’s choice if he shaved his head.

Ivanka Trump

She’s a smart, beautiful and savvy business woman—and she’s already been a part of the show as a boardroom judge on both editions. But the big question is: Will her dad let her stay chummy with NBC after he was so cruelly dumped by them?

Omarosa

Come on, just for kicks—bring back the controversial contender from the first season of The Apprentice. Viewers loved to hate her and they’d definitely tune in to see if she’s changed her villainous ways as host. (Or as she referred to herself, “shrewd.”)

Piers Morgan

He’s also familiar with the Celebrity Apprentice, having won in 2008. The journalist and talk show host is also no stranger to judging others—he’s critiqued people on their performances on both Britain’s Got Talent and America’s Got Talent—and can you really go wrong with an opinionated Brit? Right, Simon Cowell? (Hmm, another possible host.)

Jay Z

A rags to riches story for modern times, Jay Z has become one of the wealthiest music artists and entrepreneurs in the country. So you just know he won’t put up with any bull from the contestants. But even better than that: Beyonce and Blue Ivy cameos!
