Here’s Who Should Rescue Lucky on General Hospital
Time is running out for both Lucky and Lulu on General Hospital. Laura and Kevin have traveled the globe to find him, but they’re definitely going to need help, especially since Holly is only out for herself. Carly went to the WSB’s Brennan, begging for his assistance, and they may have identified just the right guy for the job.
Obvious Choice
Carly (Laura Wright) offered Brennan (Charles Mesure) money to rescue Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) because he couldn’t justify using WSB resources for one man. He ultimately declined her offer but explained that the instability in and around Somalia — where Lucky is located — makes finding him extremely difficult. He further added, “You don’t have a SEAL team at your disposal. And that area is too dangerous for civilians. So, who would you even send in to rescue Lucky?”
Carly had a distant look in her eyes, and you could see the wheels turning in her head. Jason (Steve Burton) is the undeniable answer. His skills as an incomparable assassin make him the perfect choice, especially due to his experience working for Cates (Adam J. Harrington). Jason’s like Port Charles’ own lethal ninja, and if they air-drop him into Lucky’s last known location, he could easily track and find him. (Learn more about Steve Burton’s return to GH.)
A Team Up
Jason will need backup, so he, Anna (Finola Hughes), and Jordan (Tanisha Harper) should form a strikeforce team to infiltrate bad guy Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) latest encampment and extract Lucky. Everyone knows about Anna’s incredible fighting skill, and we recently were treated to a refresher when Jordan dispatched the assassin who tried to kill Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson).
Brennan already asked Jason to work for him on missions, so this is a no-brainer and a good excuse for him to accept the guy’s offer. He would put his deadly skills to good use, ensuring Lucky’s return so he can donate part of his liver to Lulu. While wearing tactical gear should be expected, the fanboy (or girl) in us would love to see Jason fighting soldiers in his regular leather jacket, black t-shirt, and jeans garb. He’s waded into deadly situations before and come out on top, unscathed.
