What Is Revolve Festival? Coachella Weekend’s Star-studded Party, Explained
Revolve Festival started in 2015, unaffiliated with the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
The retailer had been bringing influencers to California’s Coachella Valley for years, putting them up in a hotel, decking them out in their brands, and in turn, receiving organic social media exposure.

It was a different time then in the world of content creation, with Revolve — founded in 2003 by Michael Karanikolas and Michael Mente — ahead of the industry in understanding the value of influencers in new age marketing, with Revolve’s chief brand officer Raissa Gerona leading the charge.
The company has grown to throwing its own music festival in Coachella Valley — which is invite-only — with carnival-level rides and performances by major headlining artists in sprawling venues. Last year alone saw Ice Spice, City Girls and 21 Savage take the stage alongside other artists.
For 2024, Revolve is doing things differently; the party — taking place during the day on Saturday, April 13 — is scaled down for a more intimate affair. The performers are a 2000s throwback, with Ying Yang Twins, Sean Paul, T-Pain and Ludacris, held at a smaller (and chic) space — Parker Palm Springs, the five-star hotel.
Curated activations include a photobooth by Hailey Bieber’s Rhode, sunscreen by Supergoop! and a pop-up by Quay Australia. Family Style Fest, known for its community-centered food festivals, has selected the food lineup, which includes plant-based Mr. Charlie’s, Yeastie Boys Bagels and Wanderlust Creamery. Kendall Jenner’s 818 tequila is making a return as partner and Kylie Jenner’s recently launched Sprinter vodka sodas is a new addition.
The Jenners, as well as the Kardashians, typically make an appearance. Past guests have also included Timothée Chalamet, Leonardo DiCaprio and many other names in music, film and television.
