Richard Simmons Has a Message for Kate Middleton Amid Her Cancer Battle
Fitness expert Richard Simmons
Richard Simmons is asking fans to pray for Kate Middleton amid her ongoing battle with cancer.
Weeks after announcing he, himself, had been diagnosed with skin cancer, the Sweatin' to the Oldies fitness star shared a touching message for the "beautiful" and "wonderful" princess.
"I know I ask you to pray for people…" Simmons, 75, began in his Thursday, June 6, statement shared to X (formerly Twitter). "I am asking you to please pray for Princess Kate. She is so beautiful and a wonderful wife and mother."
"I do hope she is feeling better today," he added before signing off with, "Love, Richard."

Simmons' followers were quick to listen, replying to the biopic namesake with confirmation that they're keeping the Princess of Wales in their prayers.
The 41-year-old royal and mother of three has been keeping a relatively low profile since going public with her cancer diagnosis in March and starting "preventative" chemotherapy treatments.
Fortunately, in the latest health update provided by her husband, when Prince William was asked if the princess was "getting better," he reportedly shared: "Yes she is. She'd have loved to be here," referencing Wednesday's outing in Portsmouth, honoring the 80th anniversary of D-Day.
While that's certainly good news, Kate still opted to skip the Duke of Westminster's wedding on Friday, despite the duke being a close friend–one of Prince George's godparents–and William serving as an usher.
As rumors about the princess' health continue to swirl, some are suggesting Princess Beatrice may step in to fulfill Kate's duties over the summer, to give her more time to focus on her health and her family.
