Rick and Michonne’s New Romance on ‘Walking Dead’

On Sunday’s The Walking Dead, love was in the air as Rick and Michonne finally kissed. After a long day of chasing a mysterious newcomer nicknamed “Jesus,” Rick collapsed on the couch next to Michonne. Failing to give her the toothpaste he promised her, he tried to make up for it with a pack of breath mints. He patted her hand while giving her the mints.

The two found themselves holding hands. After a pregnant moment, they each leaned in for a kiss. Things escalated to a full make-out session on the couch before cutting to the two lying naked in bed.

However, the romance was soon interrupted by a voice saying, “Rick, wake up.” Michonne and Rick bolted up, weapons in hand, to see Jesus standing at the foot of their bed. The episode ended with Jesus saying, “We should talk.”

The Walking Dead airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on AMC.
