Ricky Schroder's Wife Files for Divorce After Nearly 24 Years of Marriage

Ricky Schroder's wife has filed for divorce from the NYPD Blue actor after nearly 24 years of marriage, according to court documents obtained by PEOPLE.

In documents submitted Friday to Los Angeles Superior Court, Andrea Schroder filed for divorce from her husband citing irreconcilable differences.

Andrea, 44, is seeking spousal support, coverage of attorney's fees and both the legal and physical custody of the couple's youngest child, – 15-year-old daughter, Faith – and requests that 46-year-old Ricky be granted child visitation rights.

Married Sept. 26, 1992, the couple have four children together – Faith, Cambrie, Luke and Holden – and are just weeks shy of their 24th wedding anniversary. According to the documents, Andrea and Ricky separated On June 1, 2016.



Ricky starred on Silver Spoons from 1982-1987 and on NYPD Blue from 1998-2001.
