Rihanna Gets Cheeky in New Video Revealing Her 'Summer Goals'

If your dream of achieving the perfect six-pack for the summer has yet to come true, you're not alone. Even Rihanna is apparently having a hard time reaching her warm-weather fitness goals, but that's not a problem for the fashionable pop star.

In a video shared to her Instagram account, the 36-year-old Fenty founder showed off a cute new outfit that doesn't require a set of washboard abs: a pleated skirt and blue button-down shirt accessorized with silver diamond necklaces and a mini Louis Vuitton tote. The most remarkable thing about her ensemble, however, is something you might not notice right away.

"Since I clearly won’t be achieving my six pack til next summer, I switched my summer goal to matching my shoes to my panties! ?????♀?," Rihanna wrote in her caption.

According to People, Rihanna's bra and thong in the clip are Savage X Fenty, and she's wearing Fenty X Puma creeper sneakers on her feet.

Fans called the look "so fire" and "effortlessly fly."

As WWD reported, Rihanna's look in the video (which was filmed on the streets of New York) echoes the "back to school" vibe of her fall Fenty x Puma campaign. The ads star models including Anjelica Huston and Chloe Cherry in a variety of "stereotypical classroom roles," such as teacher's pet and principal. Rihanna explained the collection's "vision" in a statement.

“Your whole school will be wearing the Creeper Phatty’s and this campaign plays with that vision. We chose these colors and material very purposefully for back-to-school. The black-on-black corduroy remind me of my very own childhood, a uniform approved shoe with the twist I always wish I had.”

Matching underwear and shoes just might be the next big thing.
