Rihanna Shades Donald Trump While Encouraging Fans To Vote
Several music superstars have made their voices heard regarding this current presidential election, and Rihanna has joined the party. She threw shots at Donald Trump while encouraging fans to vote.
The 36-year-old artist posted a video of herself riding in a car on Instagram, with text over the video reading “POV: me trying to sneak into the polls with my son’s passport #votecauseicant.” In the caption, she wrote, “When protecting pu**ies and firing pu**ies can happen all in one vote #votecauseicant #TanSuitSeason.”
The caption simultaneously referred to Kamala Harris’ strong stance on women’s rights and Trump’s problematic views on women. The second hashtag also referenced the former President calling out Barack Obama for wearing a tan suit in 2014 and Harris doing the same at the Democratic National Convention in August. The “Work” singer didn’t just stop at insulting Trump, either.

One commenter accused her of encouraging illegal immigration, and Rihanna responded, “Where were you [on] Jan 6 sis? Stick to your discounted crotch. We out here fighting for its rights!” Another user claimed that the mother of two was attempting to vote illegally, and Rih dismissed her with “Shut up Karen.”
Another user asked “How TF can you live here and been living here if you aren’t a US Citizen?” and the nine-time Grammy winner said “Taxes dummy [shrugging emoji].” One final user claimed that Kamala Harris and Donald Trump were the same person, and Rih replied “LOL! Donkey of the day goes toooo…” Read some of the comments above.
Harris can now boast the support of music titans such as Rihanna, Beyoncé, Eminem, Cardi B, and more. As for political supporters, Barack Obama has thrown his full support behind her and even appeared at rallies on her behalf. One cool moment involved Obama rapping Slim Shady’s “Lose Yourself” lyrics when campaigning in Detroit. Watch below.
