It turns out daughters helping their mothers with ultra-important projects runs in the Keough blood. Riley Keough has famously helped her late mother Lisa Marie Presley finish her posthumous memoir, From Here to the Great Unknown. She agreed to help her mom write the tell-all a month before Lisa Marie — the only daughter of Elvis and Priscilla Presley — unexpectedly died. Keough then had to rely on voice recordings and interviews to finish the book.

“It was incredibly painful but I couldn’t stop,” Keough wrote in the memoir’s introduction which is available for pre-order and hits shelves Oct. 8. “It was like she was in the room, talking to me. I instantly felt like a child again and I burst into tears.”

Now, Keough’s 2-year-old daughter Tupelo is helping her mom with the memoir too — but in a way that should be much less painful.

The Daisy Jones & The Six star shared a video on Instagram of little Tupelo — who she shares with husband Ben Smith-Peterson — helping her “sign” copies of the memoir. She’s “signing” her grandma’s life story.

“A few of you might just get a very exclusive, special edition copy of FROM HERE TO THE GREAT UNKNOWN signed by Tupelo,” Keough captioned the footage.

In the clip, Keough signs a throwback photo of herself and Lisa Marie. The camera then pans to little Tupelo who is sitting on the floor with a marker in hand, alternating between scribbling on a coloring sheet and “signing” the photo.

Fans loved the adorable inclusion: “???????????? sooo cute” “Sweetness overload ?” “cutest thing i’ve ever seen helping her mama”

“May Tupelo shine a light to carry on the Presley family legacy ????????????,” read a translated comment.

In the emotional memoir, Lisa Marie shares some of her unbelievably normal moments with the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll. When she was in grade school, he went to one of her parent-teacher conferences.

“I could feel the teachers’ nervousness and excitement,” Lisa Marie said. ” … My little student friends were so excited that I got even more excited — everybody was just running around crazy.”

“He got out of the car and he had on a respectable outfit — black pants and some kind of blouse — but he was also wearing a big, majestic belt with buckles and jewels and chains, as well as sunglasses. He was smoking a cigar. I met him at the car, and I walked up the walkway with him, and I just remember that feeling of walking next to him, holding his hand.”

Of course, Elvis’ untimely death at age 42 meant he tragically never held the hand of his granddaughter or great-granddaughter, but several lucky readers will be able to relish in holding their signatures.
