The lineup for this year’s Riot Fest includes Fall Out Boy, Beck, Slayer, Pavement, St. Vincent, the Offspring (performing their Smash album), and Public Enemy. NOFX, in the midst of their farewell tour, will play all three days at their own NOFX World section of the fest, which will take place Sept. 20 – 22 at Bridgeview, Illinois’ SeatGeek Stadium.

More than 90 bands will perform at the event. Other highlights include Mastodon performing their album Leviathan and Manchester Orchestra playing all of Cope, as well as sets by Rob Zombie, Sublime (with Jakob Nowell), Bright Eyes, a Dr. Dog reunion, the Marley Brothers (Ziggy, Stephen, Julian, Ky-Mani, and Damian) performing a Bob Marley set, and Laura Jane Grace will perform a tribute to Operation Ivy with Catbite. Pennywise, Descendents, and Circle Jerks will support NOFX’s gigs.

The full lineup and ticketing details are on the Riot Fest website.

The festival this year will also offer what its organizers are describing as a “choose your own adventure” experience its calling RiotLand. This includes themed areas, activities, and “activation experiences.” These include a Q101 Radio Tower, NOFX World, a Cabret Metro Stage, AAA Stage, Kevin Smith Tribute Zones (a recreation of the Clerks convenience store), and a casino stage. Other oddities include “Butter Stamos” and “Nihilist Arby’s.” And if you love Riot Fest so much, why don’t you marry it — or at least get married at it, since they’ll have a wedding chapel on site.

Festival organizer Riot Mike posted a video message to his fans explaining why they’re doing RiotLand this year. “Without you — the fans — there would be no soul to what we do,” he said.
