Robin Williams’ son posts sweet tribute to dad on the comedian’s birthday

'I'm so grateful to be your son,' Zak Williams wrote

Robin Williams would have turned 73 on Sunday, and his son, Zak, marked the day in a loving post that he shared to social media.

“Dad, on what would be your 73rd birthday, I remember you for all the hope and joy you brought to the world,” wrote Williams, 41. “There's not a week that goes by without someone sharing with me how you helped them through a dark time or a rough patch.”

Williams also posted a candid photo of the late actor and comedian sitting on the floor in a meditation pose with a small smile on his face.

“I'm so grateful to be your son,” Williams’ post concludes. “Love you forever.”
