The late Robin Williams would have turned 73 on July 21, and his son honored the occasion.

Zak Williams, 41, posted on X a black-and-white throwback photo of his father, who died in 2014 at age 63, sitting in a meditation pose.

“Dad, on what would be your 73rd birthday,” he wrote in the post, “I remember you for all the hope and joy you brought to the world.”

He continued, “There's not a week that goes by without someone sharing with me how you helped them through a dark time or a rough patch. I'm so grateful to be your son. Love you forever.”

Last year for the big day, Zelda shared on social media that she believed Robin would have supported the Hollywood writers' and actor’s strikes, posting a photo of him on the picket line in the similar 2007 strike.

“Happy birthday to Poppo, who definitely would’ve been out there fighting the good fight for art and artists today and always,” the Lisa Frankenstein director wrote at the time.
