Ronda Rousey’s Engagement Was Nearly Ruined by Rain and Burglary
UFC fighter Ronda Rousey’s engagement to fellow UFC fighter Travis Browne was nearly stopped by a burglary. Rousey visited Live With Kelly and Ryan and explained that her fiancé planned to propose under a waterfall in New Zealand. After some heavy rainfall, Browne’s planned words quickly turned into bullet points, “We’re in New Zealand. We’re under a waterfall. Will you marry me?”
However, the real problems started much earlier. Browne was going to ask Rousey’s mother for permission to propose. Rousey explained, “We were going to leave to the airport and he was going to sneak away and ask my mom for permission, and when we got to the house we realized we were robbed.”
Sadly, many of their valuables were taken, but the engagement ring was safe. Luckily, their house had security cameras. So Rousey and Browne were able to find the people who crossed two UFC fighters and hand them over to the police.
