Among the people who came out to celebrate were Roopal Patel, Hannah Bronfman, Cynthia Rowley, Nicky Hilton, Divya Mathur, Jennifer Fisher, Jenne Lombardo, Renna Brown-Taher, Melissa Wood Tepperberg, Alejandra Alonso Rojas, Marni Senofonte, Dani Stahl and Lorraine Schwartz.
Some 52 guests enjoyed the wood fired Asian-inspired menu of “krunchy” kale, tuna crispy rice, chicories salad, roasted cauliflower, veggie Thai rice stone pot, Korean fried chicken, pan roasted halibut, beef short ribs and topped off by coconut cake, a big crowd pleaser. The event was sponsored by Cincoro Tequila.
In brief remarks during dinner, O’hana said Wishi powers all the recommendations on Kobo’s website and offers personalized looks, thereby increasing Kobo’s sales. “Thank you Ronny for being part of the Wishi family,” O’hana said.
“I couldn’t be more proud of you [O’hana],” Kobo said. “When I first met you, I thought you were this beautiful, international, Jewish girl. I never realized what a hard worker you are until I got to know you and I became your friend, and I see your intellect and admire how you run a business.…I’m very proud of what you built and even prouder to be a part of it,” Kobo said.
Kobo said she was excited to bring her circle of friends together and support each other. “I have the best-looking friends who have the best careers,” she said.
